A Landmark Celebration
In an elaborate ceremony held on Sunday, 28th July 2024, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Anambra State Chapter rolled out the drums for the official swearing-in and inauguration of newly elected State Executives, Appointees, and Zonal Coordinators.
The event, hosted at Mich Royal Hotel, Roban Junction, Awka, marked a significant milestone in the chapter’s renewed vision for inclusion, structure, and member-driven leadership across the state.
Present at the high-profile occasion were:
- Chief Dr. Emeka Rollas Ejezie, MON – National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria,
- Hon. Don Onyenji – Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, Anambra State,
- Sir Bob-Manuel Udokwu – Special Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism,
- Mrs. Esther Chinyelu Anyaegbunam – Chairman, AGN Anambra State Chapter,
- Stanley Anigbo (AB Cowboy) – National Vice President, South East Zone.
This colorful gathering witnessed the commissioning of newly appointed officers and zonal leaders tasked with steering the chapter’s affairs across its functional zones—Awka, Nnewi, Onitsha, Aguata, and Ihiala—while solidifying plans for the emerging Aguleri Zone.
